The owner, John Carr, has 50 years of business experience beginning in 1973 in Retail Banking and progressing to heading a Commercial Banking team in Northumberland & North Tyneside for a U.K. Bank.

Following early retirement from Banking, John Carr became a business consultant for a U.K. Government business support initiative and a Member of the Board of Northumbria Probation Service. In 2009 John Carr became an owner and Director of a well-respected local Buying House, Souter Trading International Limited which was subsequently sold in 2018.
